Join us on Saturday, September 16th at 10 am for a morning of harvesting and cooking on the farm. The day begins with a trek to the Sauvie Island Organics farm where we’ll harvest fresh, local organic vegetables. With produce in hand we’ll head back to the big, red barn where we’ll turn our haul into an authentic farm-to-table Latin-flavored lunch. The menu (below) is based on what will be available on the farm in mid-September and the rest of the ingredients will come from our partner in farm-based education Whole Foods Market. Reservations are required and we are requesting a donation of $20 per family to cover the cost of the event. The last few Cookin’ on the Farm events have sold out. Don’t wait!
