In these unprecedented times we are looking for ways to keep students and families connected to farms. This fall we are offering a few different opportunities for your family and/or small group to spend time exploring and growing together at the Sauvie Island Center on Topaz Farm. Below you’ll find information about our standard field trip program, which has traditionally been offered to full classes of elementary school-aged children.
This fall we are also offering smaller groups the opportunity to explore the farm and our curriculum. Family field trips occur every other Wednesday. Custom field trips allow you to partner with our program staff to design activities that are most appropriate for your group.
Standard field trips are for students in grades K-5 and are offered to groups of up to 35 students. The cost per trip is $200. Scholarship funds are available for those who qualify. We also offer special programs for both younger and older students.
