Grab your dancin’ shoes! The 5th annual Sauvie Island Center Barn Dance and Barbecue will be held on Saturday, July 27th from 5 to 8 pm. We’ll have plenty of tasty barbecue and live music for square dancing. Whole Foods Market, our partner in farm-based education, has joined the event as the 2013 Presenting Sponsor. Our old friends Organic Valley are back to sponsor the dessert portion of the evening.
If you prefer an old school picnic, grab your blanket and purchase individual tickets – just $25 for adults and $5 for children under 12. You’ll hit the buffet line and load your own plate when we ring the dinner bell.
Better yet, take a load off, grab 5 friends and sponsor a table. We’ll provide family style service at your table, along with a bottle of wine and a pitcher of beer. Tables are just $375, which just so happens to be exactly the same cost as a full class scholarship to the Sauvie Island Center. Sponsor names will be posted at tables, and listed on our website, alongside our Presenting Sponsor Whole Foods Market and our Dessert Sponsor Organic Valley.
