Interested in sponsorship opportunities? We have several opportunities for businesses small and large. A decision to sponsor the Center demonstrates your commitment to furthering agriculture, health and nutrition education opportunities for Portland’s children. It also provides a meaningful and unique way to communicate information about your organization to eco-savvy, education-minded parents, teachers and members of the Portland community.
Season Sponsorship
Your donation of $2,500 will underwrite an entire season, while supporting farm field trips for more than twenty five classes and approximately 600 children. This exclusive opportunity is available for spring and fall 2012 and includes:
- Your name and logo on Partners Page of website* and Partners signage at the Center
- Recognition of your support on social media**
- Your name, logo and blurb about your organization in newsletters*** distributed in your season
- Verbal recognition of support at all 2012 fundraising events (approximately 4/year) including the Annual Barn Dance
- Logo placement on advertising for events in your season and the Annual Barn Dance
- Four tickets to Barn Dance and two tickets to events in your season
- Information about your organization included in media outreach for events in your season
- Category exclusivity for your season
Cultivating Community Sponsorship
Volunteers are the backbone of the Sauvie Island Center. In 2011 we’ve recruited and trained over 50 volunteers and interns who will lead portions of field trips, assist in farm maintenance and support fundraising events. Your contribution of $1,500 will support training and recognition for these hardworking volunteers. There are two spring and two fall, Cultivating Community Sponsorship opportunities and each include:
- Your name and logo on Partners Page of website* and Partners signage at the Center
- Recognition of your support on social media** and in newsletters***
- Your logo on volunteer t shirt
- Verbal recognition at Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon
Rain boots and Rototillers Sponsorship
Your contribution of funds (or an in-kind donation) will provide the equipment necessary to operate the Center. From farm tools to rain slickers, there are so many things we need to host students for day of learning on the farm. The value of this sponsorship depends on the value of equipment purchased or donated. This sponsorship includes:
- Your name and logo on Partners Page of website and Partners signage at the Center
- Recognition of your donation on social media** and in newsletters***
- Verbal recognition at Annual Barn Dance
Grow Lunch Garden Sponsorship
The Grow Lunch Gardenis the row on the farm planted, tended and harvested by visiting elementary school children. The Garden is also where simple cooking projects take place, using produce pulled directly from the ground. This sponsorship is offered one time per season and is valued at $1,500 and includes:
- Your name and logo on Partners Page of website* and Partners signage at the Center
- Recognition of your support on social media**
- Signage at the Garden
- Verbal recognition at Annual Barn Dance
- Logo placement on Barn Dance posters and publicity
- Two tickets to Barn Dance
Harvest Sponsorship
Your cash and in-kind donations for events throughout the year provide the tools we need to raise funds and expand our program. TheSauvieIslandCenterhosts approximately 4 fundraising events per year. The level of this sponsorship depends on the value of your contribution to the event. Benefits include:
- Your name and logo on Partners Page of website and Partners signage at the Center
- Recognition of your donation on social media** and in newsletters***
- Your name and logo on event promotional materials (for contributions greater than $500)
- Verbal recognition at the event
Seedling Society
A donation of $100 or more will qualify your organization for membership in our Seedling Society. Names of Seedling Society Members are listed on the Partners Page of our website.
