Whether you’re looking for a volunteer opportunity that will get you outside, or an internship to round out your skills and experience, we’ve got a few different ways you can get involved with Sauvie Island Center. Volunteer Farm Educators lead small groups of children through hands-on, farm-based lessons in healthy soil, pollination, plant identification and more. If you like working with children and enjoy being outdoors, volunteering with Sauvie Island Center is sure to be a rewarding way for you to contribute. Training for fall 2017 Volunteer Farm Educators is scheduled for Thursday, 9/8 or Friday, 9/9. To learn more, or to register, visit Volunteer Farm Educator.
