Lessons to support your classroom before and after the field trip
Our pre-field trip lessons introduce concepts that will be explored during your field trip to the Sauvie Island Center. The post-trip lessons will reinforce concepts from our curriculum. The table below provides a brief overview of each lesson, along with details on the connection to our field trips. To access a lesson, click on the name in the table. This will launch a PDF which you can download. Once you’ve accessed pre and post field trip lessons, don’t forget to check out our Classroom Tools (below the Field Trip Lesson table). Funding for the Educator Resource page has been generously provided by West Multnomah Soil & Water Conservation District.
